【首席布爾喬亞專欄】從被看見,到被信任:ximu 獲 PR Awards Asia-Pacific 2026 肯定,開啟 AI 時代的公關新秩序

This award represents a broader industry thesis: as AI begins to understand the world, brand image must become a trust asset that is governable, verifiable, and capable of compounding over time.

ximu — See What AI See — was shortlisted alongside leading international teams from Japan, Singapore, and across the Asia-Pacific region at PR Awards Asia-Pacific 2026. It ultimately received the Best AI Product/Service award, becoming the sole winner in the category.

To me, this recognition belongs as much to ximu as it does to the team at VM | VOCAL MIDDLE. It is also a clear and measured signal: the public relations industry is entering its next era, and we are privileged to stand at this turning point, helping define a new standard for the industry.

Public relations has never been merely about exposure, nor simply about attention. True public relations is a discipline of trust governance: enabling brands to be understood within complex public environments, to earn the confidence of diverse stakeholders, and to build reputations that stand the test of time.

In the past, public relations helped brands participate in media and social narratives. Today, public relations must preserve the clarity of brand value amid information overload, fragmented attention, and algorithm-driven distribution. Tomorrow, public relations must answer a new question:

When AI begins to read, organize, cite, and recommend information, how can a brand be accurately represented and fairly understood?

ximu was created to answer that question.

“See What AI See” is not a slogan. It is a methodology.

It reflects our belief that brand image should no longer be viewed merely as perception, short-term attention, or media outcomes. Instead, it should be treated as one of an organization’s most important intangible assets—observable, measurable, governable, and capable of compounding over time.

As AI becomes a primary gateway through which people discover and understand the world, brand competition will no longer be defined solely by search rankings, media placements, or social reach. It will increasingly be shaped by how AI understands, cites, compares, and recommends brands.

This is also my view of the future of public relations: PR will not be replaced by AI. It will be amplified by AI.

What organizations truly need is not more tools, but better judgment; not more noise, but a more trustworthy framework for understanding.

AI accelerates the flow of information, but it also raises the importance of trust governance. Brands that cannot be properly understood by AI risk losing visibility in the emerging information landscape. Brands that cannot earn the trust of both humans and AI risk losing relevance in the marketplace.

This is why we introduced AI-Native IMAGE Asset Governance, with ximu as the platform that brings it into practice.

It is our answer to PRaaS 2.0 and a reflection of our conviction as we expand from Taiwan into the broader Asia-Pacific and global markets: brands should be seen accurately, cited credibly, and trusted consistently.

I would like to thank PR Awards Asia-Pacific and the judging panel for recognizing ximu.

This recognition matters not because it adds another accolade to our name, but because it brings greater visibility to an important industry shift: the value of public relations is evolving from communications execution to image asset governance; from media relations to trust architecture; and from brand exposure to creating a framework through which both humans and AI can understand and trust a brand.

I would also like to thank the clients, partners, and team members who have been part of this journey.

Every discussion, every iteration, and every refinement of our methodology has contributed to ximu’s progress. Innovation is rarely a single moment of inspiration. It is a long journey that requires vision, discipline, persistence, and execution.

To me, this award is not an endpoint. It is a greater responsibility.

Our ambition extends beyond building an AI product. We aim to help define the standards for the next generation of public relations.

We believe brand image should become a manageable asset. We believe public relations should play a more central role in enterprise governance and business decision-making. And we believe the Asia-Pacific region can contribute not only innovation, but also meaningful frameworks and standards to the global conversation.

The tide has arrived, and the opportunity is clear.

VM | VOCAL MIDDLE will continue helping brands navigate change through a Strategy First, Data Driven, AI Empowered approach.

ximu will serve as an IMAGE Asset Governance Platform for the AI era, helping organizations understand how AI sees them, refine their narratives, build trust, and strengthen authority over time.

Our hope is that more brands around the world can be seen in the human world, trusted in the AI world, and recognized as authorities worthy of citation, recommendation, and trust.

This is our gratitude—and our commitment:

Let brand value be understood accurately.
Let trust become the foundation of the next era.

About VM VOCAL MIDDLE, ximu, and VM GEO

Founded in 2014, VM VOCAL MIDDLE positions itself as an “IMAGE Architect” — an AI-native PR consulting firm built around AI-driven strategy and transformation.

Guided by the philosophy of Strategy-First | Data-Driven | AI-Empowered, VM transforms traditional strategic communications into measurable and sustainable IMAGE Assets through its proprietary PRaaS 2.0 (PR as AI Solution) framework, putting the core values of Trust · Influence · Resonance into practice.

In response to the rise of the generative AI era, VM developed its core infrastructure platform, ximu — an AI-native IMAGE Asset governance platform designed to help brands become seen, trusted, and preferentially cited within AI semantic systems.

The platform was co-developed alongside leading algorithm engineers from top academic institutions including National Taiwan University, Fudan University, and East China Normal University, with the mission of redefining how brands establish authority and visibility in AI-driven environments.

At the same time, VM GEO, built upon VM’s proprietary I.M.P.U.L.S.E. methodology and Silicon Valley AI search logic, was jointly developed by an international consulting team with academic backgrounds from institutions including National Taiwan University, Stanford University, New York University, and Tsinghua University.

Together, these systems enable brand governance in the AI era to evolve beyond communications — into a true discipline of trust engineering.
