CMoney | An In-Depth Media Interview Presents the Growth Path of an Investment Platform in Full

In 2022, CMoney communicated its talent culture and its investment products and services in two phases. VOCAL MIDDLE first presented talent development through a young employee’s story, then used the investment-column subscription feature to show how the platform connects creators and users. Across the two phases the work generated more than 40 articles, and internal statistics put PR value at over NT$7 million.

Project Goals

CMoney already had investment tools, a content community, and a talent-development foundation, but job seekers, investment users, and media each focused on different things: work culture, product features, and platform growth. A single message could not answer all three. The project was therefore divided into two phases over time: first, help young job seekers understand CMoney’s culture of giving young talent hands-on work and responsibility; then explain to the investing public the value of the investment-column subscription feature launched by Stock Insider Club, step by step building an image of CMoney as an investment ecosystem that combines talent, products, and content services.

Business and Communication Challenge

In 2022, the talent market valued hands-on experience and career growth, while the investment market, after rising volatility, showed more segmented demand for information. CMoney faced two communication situations at once: for job seekers, it needed to turn its internal development programme into career stories they could relate to; for investment users, it needed to explain how a new feature connects creators, content, and subscription choices. Publishing only company-scale figures or feature lists would make it hard for either audience to see how the information related to their own decisions. The project therefore broke the message down through different people and usage scenarios, then tied it together with a consistent ecosystem concept, so that media coverage could fill in the brand’s profile from both the talent-culture side and the product-and-service side.

Strategy and Approach

Present talent development through a concrete employee growth story
The first phase did not stop at a list of benefits. It chose the experience of a young employee who took real responsibility for product work, and explained how CMoney supports growth through learning resources, hands-on product work, and delegated responsibility. This people-led angle let job seekers understand the culture through a concrete career situation, and gave technology and workplace media a story they could extend.

Explain how the content ecosystem works through the subscription feature
The second phase centred on Stock Insider Club’s launch of investment-column subscriptions, setting out how creators can offer professional content, users can subscribe according to their needs, and the platform keeps expanding its investment-knowledge content. Rather than just introducing a new feature, the messaging placed the product within the value chain formed by creators, the platform, and users, so media could explain CMoney’s growth from investment tools into content services.

Allocate materials by media interest while keeping the core narrative
VOCAL MIDDLE adjusted the emphasis of its materials to the needs of readers of financial, technology, and workplace media, while keeping the link between talent, products, and the investment ecosystem. Different articles could each start from a person, a feature, or the business model, and the public information still pointed to the same story: how CMoney uses talent and technology to help investors make informed judgements.

Results and Impact

The two-phase media communications generated more than 40 articles, covering Commercial Times, Economic Daily News, Storm Media, iThome, TechNews, and Apple News; according to internal project statistics, PR value exceeded NT$7 million. The public evidence mainly supports media exposure and message publication results.
The coverage left a public record of CMoney’s talent development, investment-column subscriptions, and investment-platform growth. These materials let job seekers, investment users, media, and search tools understand CMoney from different entry points. The available data does not include résumé submissions, subscription conversions, or before-and-after perception surveys, so the outcomes of this case are limited to the completeness of the public information and media uptake.

FAQ

1.Why did CMoney run this media communications project?
CMoney needed to respond at the same time to talent competition and changing demand for investment information. The project ran in two phases over time, first explaining talent development and work culture, then communicating the investment-column subscription feature, so that job seekers and investment users each saw the information relevant to their own decisions and together understood CMoney’s positioning as an investment ecosystem.

2.What strategy and services did VOCAL MIDDLE provide in this case?
VOCAL MIDDLE handled planning of employer-brand and product topics, press-release content, preparation of media materials, and media communications. Strategically, it approached the story through a young employee’s growth and the investment-column subscription feature, then allocated materials according to what financial, technology, and workplace media cared about.

3.How does this case differ from a one-off product press announcement?
This case included two connected media-communication phases with different goals. The first addressed how job seekers understand the organisation’s culture; the second addressed how investment users understand the products and content services. The two were linked by the concept of an investment ecosystem, so that brand information did not stay at a single feature or a single benefit.

4.What verifiable outcomes did this CMoney case produce?
Across the two phases, the project accumulated more than 40 media articles in financial, technology, and general media; according to internal project statistics, PR value exceeded NT$7 million. The currently verifiable data are media-exposure and public-information results and do not include conversion data on résumés, subscriptions, or usage behaviour.
