DeepWave|Positions Meeting Ink as an AI Meeting Decision Assistant

DeepWave launched bidirectional AI translation and 20 summary templates for cross-border meetings. VOCAL MIDDLE reframed the technology around collaboration costs and supported the story with a business use case. The campaign secured more than 10 media placements and established public reference points for positioning Meeting Ink as an AI meeting decision assistant.

Project Goals

DeepWave had built substantial speech-recognition and audio-understanding capabilities, but business buyers needed more than accuracy claims. They needed to understand how the product could fit into multilingual meetings, reduce the work of organising discussions, and support follow-up decisions. The project therefore aimed to translate bidirectional interpretation, terminology dictionaries, and summary templates into operational value, positioning Meeting Ink beyond a transcription tool as an assistant for meeting information and decision preparation.

Market Insights

The cost of cross-border meetings is distributed across interpretation, transcription, summary preparation, and follow-up. A specification-led announcement would not, on its own, help non-technical decision-makers assess implementation value. DeepWave had a strong product story: bidirectional translation, specialist terminology dictionaries, and 20 decision-oriented summary templates. The communication opportunity was to connect each capability to a recognisable task before, during, or after a meeting. Instead of treating the release as a list of new features, the campaign led with workflow friction and used a cross-border customer example to make adoption easier to picture.

Strategic Planning

Reframe the technology around collaboration cost
The release led with the hidden cost of multilingual online meetings. Translation, terminology support, and summary templates were mapped to comprehension, documentation, and decision tasks so business audiences could assess the product in workflow terms.

Build the AI meeting decision assistant position
The 20 templates were presented with real-time translation and post-meeting organisation as one connected experience. This shifted the narrative from a voice-recording utility towards an assistant that prepares meeting information for business decisions.

Use a cross-border case to make adoption tangible
A business use case showed how Meeting Ink could enter an actual collaboration setting. Compared with a feature-only release, this approach gave media and prospective buyers a clearer account of when the product is useful and how it works.

Value Creation

The campaign secured more than 10 media placements, including coverage by Economic Daily News, iThome, TechNice, and Meet Startup. The existing public case page records approximately NT$1.5 million in media value. Published articles consistently highlighted bidirectional translation, AI summary templates, and the product’s role in reducing cross-border meeting time, creating a searchable public information asset around Meeting Ink’s capabilities, use cases, and meeting decision assistant position.
