Circles.Life | Explains Digital Telecom Through Local Media Relations

After entering Taiwan, Circles.Life needed to explain its contract-free digital service model. VOCAL MIDDLE Communications combined monthly cross-border meetings, a media centre and topical stories to connect headquarters messages with local needs. The existing case reports at least 53 placements and approximately NT$8 million in PR value, documenting communications during the market-entry period.

Project Goals

Circles.Life entered Taiwan in 2019 and wanted prospective users to understand a contract-free service with digital application and plan management. Its communication task was to explain how the model related to customer needs alongside established telecom brands and channels. VOCAL MIDDLE combined long-term media relations with monthly headquarters coordination, using Taiwan feedback and local topics to adapt the core story. The aim was a concrete explanation for journalists and consumers within that historical market-entry context.

Business and Communication Challenge

Without physical shops, a digital telecom service needed other ways to explain application, account management and use. Moving from Singapore to Taiwan also required headquarters messages to address local routines and editorial interests. The project connected regular cross-border coordination with a stable media centre: local observations informed headquarters discussions, while journalists’ questions informed topics and messaging. Timely stories created opportunities beyond individual announcements and gave the service a practical context. This account concerns the historical communication programme, with the reported service conditions treated as features of that period rather than as a description of a current offer.

Develop proactive stories from timely issues
Market discussion and relevant data supplied contexts for explaining digital telecom between major announcements.
